AI Policy
My favorite part of entrepreneurship is the capacity for innovation. That includes staying as cutting-edge as possible, especially with a web design facet of our company, but as long as we’re humans selling to humans, effective branding requires an intimately human approach. In the spirit of transparency, here’s exactly how we use AI at Electric Collab…and how we don’t.
YOUR WEBSITE COPY
While I do stress-test copy ideas and conduct client and competitor research using Claude and ChatGPT, I do not use AI-derived copy directly. Not only is AI-generated copy ineligible for copyright protection, it’s typically flat, emotionless, and often sounds like AI. (Those robotic sentence structures aren’t fooling anyone.) Your messaging is the thing that moves aligned clients to buy. As long as those clients are people, you’re website copy will be crafted by people, too.
NOTETAKERS
The work we do together is incredibly personal. I’ll be asking deep questions and you’ll be letting me into all nuances of your proprietary methods and key differentiators. I don’t know exactly what AI note taking software could do with that precious intel, but I’m not risking it. We do not use any automated note taking or transcription software at Electric Collab.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media is about building connections, and I prefer to socialize with people. (The movie HER seriously scarred me.) I sometimes use AI to generate content ideas, but every caption is written by me. Think of them like tiny little notes of encouragement sprinkled throughout your feed.
OPERATIONS EFFICIENCES
In my mind, this is where AI really shines. From calendar organization and schedule syncing to project management optimization and color psychology, I lean into all the ways AI can help me save time on tedious tasks so I can funnel that time back into building your epic, elevated brand. Thank you, smart bots.
